I’m Mel, the maker behind Culture of Good.

In 2019, I founded Culture of Good with a simple yet powerful vision: to create clean, thoughtfully crafted candles that bring both beauty and intention into everyday life.

What began as a side hustle has grown into something much more meaningful. with a background in interior design, I’ve always believed that the atmosphere of a home shapes how we feel — how we gather, unwind, and connect. Scents, to me, is one of the most powerful ways to create that experience.

Each candle is designed to become part of a daily ritual — a slow morning, a reset at the end of the day, a moment of calm in the middle of it all.

Driven by a deeper purpose, I was led to a remarkable organization supporting children’s education in Guatemala. It deeply moved me, and Culture of Good became a reflection of that calling — to create something beautiful while giving back.
